How many grind adjustment points does the Royal provide?

How many grind adjustment points are there, how precise are they, and how do I know which setting to use?

The Royal grinder has 72 adjustments, across three rotations of the adjustment crown: or 24 micro-settings per rotation (.02mm difference between each point). You will receive your grinder set to ZERO. 

Ideal grind settings will vary based on brew method, desired dose, bean type and roast. Dial-in to your preferences, but a general guide can be referenced below.

When brewing Flair espresso, you will likely be brewing on a grind setting somewhere between 1-1.5 revolutions from lock-up.
