# How do I assemble the Royal?

The Royal grinder consists of three major sections: (A) a detachable aluminum handle (crank assembly), (B) a precision-milled aluminum body, (C) and a detachable stainless steel catch cup. 

Upon receipt, unscrew the body cap, install the crank assembly, and replace the body cap to hold it in place. You're now good to grind!

While no cleaning is required prior to use, we recommend grinding and disposing of 1-2 doses of coffee prior to your first brew, to ensure any excess (food-safe) lubricant has been "flushed."
